Cards slide across the table one at a time. Drag a card down into your five hand slots to keep it; flick it away or let it slide past to pass. The sign above the table shows his call, the hand he wants. Make it to score. Your first sitting is a guided lesson, and you can replay it any time from House Rules on the home screen, which also lists every hand and cheat.

You bring a kit of cheats to every run. The pocket is always there: swipe a card down past your hand to palm it, then tap the pocket to play it into your next empty slot. The other tools (the ring, the match, the inkwell and more) each have their own page in House Rules. Every cheat raises his Suspicion, and it costs less when he glances away.

Sleight is free to try: the lesson, the first circles of the Descent, the Daily Deal every day, and a starter kit of cheats. One purchase, the Full Game, unlocks the rest for good: the whole Descent and the darker tables below it, every cheat, and his whole bargain deck. It's a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, no ads, and nothing sold at random.

By playing. Each locked item says what it needs, whether that's a number of runs, a circle of the Descent, or a feat. Some wardrobe pieces can also be bought with Marks you earn at the table (Marks can't be bought with money). Cheats beyond the starter kit come with the Full Game.

The main run. You go down circle by circle, each with its own dealer and a rule that bends the game. Beat a circle's stake to go deeper.

At midnight UTC (that's 4 pm Pacific / 7 pm Eastern in winter, an hour later in summer). Everyone in the world gets the same deal that day, and you get one attempt. The countdown is on the Daily Deal screen.

No. There's no real money at his table: no wagering, no prizes, and nothing you win can be cashed out. The only purchase is the one-time Full Game unlock, and nothing is ever sold at random. Scores and stakes are for play only. The slot machine only picks the day's deal.

Yes, if you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on both phones and iCloud is allowed for Sleight. Open the game on the new phone and give it a moment to sync.

Check that you're signed in to Game Center (iPhone Settings → Game Center). If you were offline, the game keeps your score and posts it the next time you're connected. A Daily Deal score only counts toward that day's board if it's posted before the day ends (midnight UTC); after that it still counts for your all-time best.

In the game, open Settings and choose Reset Progress. This can't be undone.

Not yet. Sleight is built for iPhone first. Follow us to hear about anything new.

Yes. Settings has separate music and sound volumes, a haptics switch, and Reduce Motion, which stills the idle movement. The game also follows your iPhone's own Reduce Motion setting.

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Sleight, and tap Restore Purchase in Settings (it's also on the unlock screen). The unlock is tied to your Apple Account, not to the phone.

Yes. The Full Game supports Family Sharing, so members of your Apple Family Sharing group can unlock it on their own devices without buying it again. They tap Restore Purchase if it doesn't unlock on its own.

Check you're connected, then tap Restore Purchase in Settings. If it still says locked, write to us with the date of the purchase and we'll sort it out. Apple's receipt email helps.

Apple handles all App Store purchases, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue them ourselves, but tell us what went wrong and we'll try to fix it.
