The house rules on your data

Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

Short version: Sleight does not collect your personal data. There's no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and purchases go through Apple. The Devil watches your hands, not your data.

This policy covers the Sleight app for iPhone and this website (sleightgame.com). Both are made by Holic Industries, LLC ("we", "us").

What the app collects

Nothing that reaches us. Sleight has no servers of its own, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics software and no third-party SDKs. We never see who you are, where you are, or how you play. In Apple's App Privacy terms, Sleight is "Data Not Collected".

What stays on your iPhone

To remember your game, Sleight stores a few things on your device:

  • Your progress: runs played, records, what you've unlocked, your kit and wardrobe, your Daily Deal results.
  • Your settings: music and sound levels, haptics, reduced motion.
  • Whether this Apple Account has unlocked the Full Game, so the game still knows when you're offline.
  • Performance and crash diagnostics from Apple's MetricKit, kept in the app's cache on your device. The app doesn't send them anywhere.

Deleting the app, or using Settings → Reset Progress in the game, removes this data from your phone.

Apple services the game uses

iCloud

If you're signed in to iCloud, your progress is also saved to your own iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage) so it carries over to a new iPhone. Apple stores it. We can't read it. You can turn this off under Settings → [your name] → iCloud on your iPhone.

Game Center (optional)

If you sign in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple so they can appear on leaderboards (including the Daily Deal board) under your Game Center nickname. Other players can see your nickname and scores according to your Game Center settings. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can play without it.

In-app purchase (the Full Game)

Sleight is free to try, with one optional purchase that unlocks the full game. Apple processes it: Apple takes payment, keeps the receipt and decides refunds, under Apple's Privacy Policy. The App asks Apple's StoreKit on your iPhone whether your Apple Account owns the unlock, and remembers the answer on the device. We never receive your name, email, Apple Account or payment details. App Store Connect shows us only sales totals, such as how many unlocks sold in which country.

App Store and crash reports

Apple handles downloads, purchases and refunds. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage totals through App Store Connect. They don't identify you, and we use them only to fix the game.

This website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no forms.
  • Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to identify anyone.
  • The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Those services receive your IP address when your browser fetches them.

Children

Sleight is rated for ages 13 and up. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Wherever you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA), you have rights over personal data a company holds about you. Since we hold none, there's nothing for us to hand over or delete. Data held by Apple (iCloud, Game Center) is managed at privacy.apple.com. We don't sell or share personal data.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example because a future update adds a feature that needs data, we'll update this page and the date above before that update ships, and describe the change in the App Store release notes.
