Description

Cards slide across the Devil's table one at a time. Drag down the ones you want. Let the rest go by. And when he looks away, cheat.

Every run you bring a kit of cheats, each done with a gesture. Swipe a card past your hand and it's in your pocket. Tap a signet ring and time slows. Strike a match and a card burns; dip a pen and rewrite one. But every cheat raises his Suspicion. Drumming on the rail, he's calm. Staring, one more is dangerous. When he glances away, a cheat costs almost nothing. Push too far and his hand comes down on yours.

Beyond pairs and flushes are the hands poker forgot: The Beast (three sixes), the Dead Man's Hand, The Void, and hands his deck can't even deal unless you forge them. The Descent takes you down through the circles of Hell, each with its own dealer and a rule that bends the game, with the Devil's bargains between them. And once a day his slot machine deals the Daily Deal: the same run for every player on Earth, one attempt, one leaderboard.

Features

  • Cheat with your hands. Sleight-of-hand gestures, not menus: palm, burn, rewrite, ring the bell.
  • Read the Devil. His eyes are the game's second meter. Time your cheats to his glances.
  • Hands poker forgot. The Beast, Dead Man's Hand, Skip Straight, the Tigers, The Void.
  • The Descent. A dealer for every circle of Hell, each with one rule that bends the game.
  • His bargains. Tarot boons and curses between circles. Curses pay more.
  • The Daily Deal. One seeded run a day, identical for everyone, ranked at his table.
  • Pixel art under a swinging lamp, a brooding score, and haptics on every palm and catch.
